Bridge City Toolworks

The first Bridge City Tool was produced in 1983. Their goal then, as it is today, is to produce woodworking hand tools that are the benchmark of quality by combining a mixture of accuracy and craftsmanship in their manufacture. Bridge City's tools are manufactured in Portland, Oregon and the raw materials also originating from within the United States. Bridge City Toolworks believes it has recaptured the spirit and soul of craftsmanship in tools.

Still relatively little known in the UK but you will be very pleased with the level of accuracy and quality in these tools. They are a fine addition to the Classic Hand Tools range. These tools sit very comfortably amongst the best quality hand tools available today, right up there with Blue Spruce Toolworks, Colen Clenton, Lie Nielsen and the like.

THE BRIDGE CITY TOOLWORKS BR-6 Pocket Rule and BR-12 Bench Rule are the finest and most useful rules available. These "zero glare" triangular rules defy logic. The closer you get them to a light source the easier they are to read!

Each BR-6 and BR-12 comes with a solid brass hook that can easily be attached thereby transforming each rule into a hook rule that allows you to read dead accurate length measurements from the end of your stock without any hassles. It doesn't get any easier than this!

Bridge City Combination Square (Metric) Ref: BC-CS-6

The head of the BC-CS-6 Combination Square is cast from silicon brass, a durable alloy that wears better than brass and does not rust in humid environments. Each leg of the square head is precisely milled, creating a tool with an accuracy run-out of less than 0.002" over the length of a fully extended blade. Once milled, both legs are precisely fitted with a Rosewood inlay.
The 150mm (19mm width) blade is made from stainless steel and is satin-chromed for excellent readability. The graduations are photo-chemically etched and meet or exceed all U.S. and British accuracy standards for rules.
