Hock Shellac
Hock Shellac comes in three colours of flakes in one-pound bags: Shellac is a natural resin secreted by the Lac Bug. This resinous secretion forms a protective cocoon for the developing Lac Bug larvae. Hock Shellac is imported from India where the resin is harvested from tree branches then cleaned and processed into the "dewaxed" flakes.
