Hiraide Oire Nomi Ref: J-N04

An all round chisel, the blade of the Hiraide Oire Nomi is thin with a wide chamfer on both edges, making the blade lighter and therefore easier to handle. Used for many different kinds of work.

All these chisels are hand made and come pre-planed and sharpened. The carbon-steel edge guarantees perfect sharpness and precision and is backed by a body of softer iron - a perfect 'shock absorber' and beautifully balanced.

Well known author and teacher David Charlesworth from Devon in South West England happily recommends these chisels to his students.

Sadly the blacksmith who made these chisels has recently passed away. As a result our stock is quite limited. We will be sourcing a replacement range in time.
